THREE ELEMENTS: I wanted to create a very dramatic shape with this piece. The antler is carved so that bog oak slots into it and is a continuation of the sweep of the arc. This was no easy piece to construct as all of my work is done using basic manual tools - the phrase "blood, sweat and tears" was not lost on me.

The picture of the deer below is the actual stag from which the antler came the previous year. The antlers you see here are his new set. (They are usually shed naturally each spring - a miraculous natural resource.)

The chain work is formed using 1.5mm dia. sterling silver wire.   MORE
