This sketch was done on
Monday 11th February. We have been having the most amazing weather, so we went to what we call the seaside - an inland lake with a man-made beach so Caitlin, my daughter, could build sand-castles, but she actually ended up doing sketching as well. |

This sketch was done on Friday 1st February 2008. Because the weather has been so good this month, we went of for a jolly tom the Loire - about 2 hours drive. We had a lovely tour round, picnic, but the atmosphere was quite hazy, so I only got this sketch and a few not very good photos. Better luck next time. Here's the finished painting
