River Loire - source to sea project by landscape artist "Abi". This painting is of the mouth of the River Loire at nightfall. Mixed media on canvas. 70cm x 50cm.

 
 

Contemporary abstract art and impressionist landscape paintings in a variety of media by the British artist Abi resident in Central France.

Abi established herself as a full time landscape artist in 2005 after 16 years of running her own graphic design business. She has now settled permanently in the centre of France which allows her to explore not only the immediate local environment but further afield to discover the changing shapes, contours, atmosphere and mystery of the French countryside.

 Her work embraces a variety of media and techniques including oils, acrylics, inks, watercolour and collage. Mixed media is her favourite technique to explore marks and textures that reflect the ever changing moods of the land, sea and sky.

Abi has 20 years experience of graphic design and web design particularly specialising in, but not limited to art and tourism.
